City Park says new attractions won’t jeopardize green space

City Park is building more recreational facilities, and though most people drive to it, the 1,300-acre haven in Mid-City won’t be overrun by concrete, the park’s chief executive says. Administrators intend to make sections of the park more natural and native than they were before Katrina.

It’s not cheap being green
